A report on several exhibitions taking place in Belgium: painter Raf van Cauwenberghe’s, Jack Goderis’s – a member of what was the ‘jeune peinture Belge’ at the time – and the selection of work by French photographer Jeanloup Sieff shown at the Museum for Contemporary Art in Ghent. Strolling through Sieff’s personal collection and portfolio, the apparent superficial glamour in his pictures makes room for a feeling of detachment and transience. Part of the BRT (Belgian radio and television broadcast network) television series ’Zoeklicht’ (’Searchlight’)
