For the 14th episode of “Zoeklicht” (Searchlight) on BRT (Belgian Radio & Televison), Jef Cornelis and his team visited the 2nd Biennial of Sint-Niklaas. With his well-known critical stance towards the institutional management of art, Cornelis guides us through the open-air sculpture exhibition in the city park of Sint-Niklaas. Through the filmed images, sustained by a clever text, he critiques the lack of originality and space for young artists.
