LABEL_WORK_DESCRIPTION

This work is a 6 minute long close up that succeeds in transforming a monologue into pure opera thanks to the magic of slow motion video. The expressive face of the dancer Fumiyo Ikeda, filled with rage, anger and pain, incorporates the monologue perfectly. Claudio Monteverdi’s ‘L’Incoronazione di Poppea’ serves as soundtrack.
