This short registration documents the installation/ environment as exposed at the Akademie der Künste in Berlin, December 1973. Central in Vostell’s piece is a black car on which motors are mounted. Connected with a series of diverse utensils (rakes, brooms, a scythe…), the motors transform the car in somewhat of a menacing robot that moves about white dinner plates scattered around the car.

‘Berlin Fieber’ is strongly connected with the legendary happening 'Auto- Fieber’ which the artist performed the same year for the same art platform and that is also also part of the Argos collection.
